Samo

Our surf coach Samo is from Nias, a small island off Sumatra. He grew up in a village on the beach surfing one of the best waves in the world since he was a small kid (or "grom") while living a simple island life. 

Samo moved to Bali in 2010 for better opportunities and to learn new skills. He has been a surfing coach working for a few different companies and is ISA certified, 

Samo's experience, skills, and passion are impeccable especially when it comes to teaching groms (kids). And there is nothing that makes him happier than coaching people in the water and watching them improve.
